Job Purpose 


To develop, implement and measure the results of a marketing strategy for the Netherlands and BeLux Sub-Regions, that will enable sales to meet annual sales targets to an agreed budget, covering all aspects of marketing related to Customers, Prospects, Channel Partners and PR.


Main Duties

  • Implement Customer, Prospect, Channel and PR communications in accordance with agreed plans, conducting regular reviews with the Head of Marketing for Western Europe.
  • Implement and execute quarterly integrated lead generation programmes, refining activities to enhance the delivery of high-quality leads, in line with corporate campaigns and to meet objectives agreed with the Head of Marketing for Western Europe.
  • Drive the implementation and on-going development of the Sophos Partner Program in the Netherlands and BeLux Sub-Regions, and support the development of sales through Channel by the definition and execution of joint marketing plans with key Channel Partners.
  • Coordinate Partner Program strategy implementation (Partner Portal management, communication to Partners, recruitment operations, channel events, partner training, and joint marketing operations)
  • Coordinate Trade Shows and Events (trade shows, product launch events, seminars and conferences)
  • Coordinate Lead Generation programmes
  • Manage Leads lifecycle (Organise and monitor feedback from campaign /events)
  • Manage Customer Lifecycle Program
  • Manage PR Communication
  • Drive SDR activities (supervising these activities, providing management support to optimize interactions with the Sales Team)
  • Drive Marketing Projects Coordinator activities (assume Team Leadership for all activities and organize day-to-day work)

Experiences and Skills

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Experience of Marketing business-to-business solutions through direct and indirect channels in the IT sector
  • Experience of implementing vendor partner programs
  • Experience of organizing events such as seminars, conferences & training courses
  • Excellent project management ability
  • Excellent time management
  • Needs to be able to travel freely to visit partners, agencies, suppliers and organise events
  • Excellent written communications ability
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
