Job Purpose:

As Director of Alliances and Integrations for Sophos, you will be responsible for establishing and managing our alliances with technology, intelligence, and strategic partners in the industry, and for creating and maintaining integrations with complementary partners, providers, and platforms. Working closely with a number of groups within Sophos, you will translate your understanding of our company strategy and goals into relationships with third parties. You will help manage integration projects from identification through definition, prototyping, testing, and launch. You will work closely with our global Sales Engineering team to leverage APIs in the Sophos' Darwin, Intelix, and Central platforms in support of partner and customer engagements. Based on feedback from those engagements, you will help to inform platform and API requirements for the product, technology, and IT teams. Leading a group of integration engineers, you will provide support to the various communities that consume our various APIs, and help partners integrate into our Darwin Marketplace. Overall, your primary goal is to help Sophos become increasingly connected to the IT, business, and security operations of our partners and customers, and to establish Sophos as a critical, high-utility data and operations platform within their operations; your secondary goal is to practically enhance security by managing key alliances with industry collaborators.

 

Main Duties:

●  Translate your understanding of our corporate, product, technology, and service goals into alliances, relationships, and integrations that will help make information systems more secure

●  Manage a team of integration engineers who will produce and maintain repositories of code, proofs of concept, documentation, Jira tickets, etc. for all projects and engagements   

●  Manage existing alliance relationships, such as the Cyber Threat Alliance and the Global Cyber Alliance, in close collaboration with SophosLabs

●  Establish new, strategically valuable alliances within the industry, in collaboration with key stakeholders (defined below)

●  Work closely with the following stakeholders in Sophos:

  • Global SE (Sales Engineering) organization
  • Sophos Product Group
  • Darwin Platform Group
  • MSP (Managed Security Provider) team
  • SophosLabs and SophosAI teams
  • Sophos MTR (Managed Threat Response)
  • Sophos Market Intelligence team
  • Corporate and Product Marketing

●  Measure progress and activities, and report on project objectives and status to business partners and management

●  Meet and communicate with partners remotely and in-person on a regular basis; moderate levels of travel will be required

 

Skills & Experience

Essential:

●  At least 5 years working in the cybersecurity industry

●  Experience establishing and managing alliances, or relationships with technology partners

●  Experience working with internal and external teams on development or integration projects

●  Proven ability to manage a team, and to collaborate with multiple groups on complex projects

●  Solid technical understanding of engineering projects, APIs, development platforms
