Job Purpose

As part of the global recruiting team, as the EMEA/UKI Finance & Marketing Recruiter, you will be responsible for hiring qualified “A player” candidates into our GFA and Marketing functions, who bring an entrepreneurial spirit, ingenuity, and passion for what they do. You are creative and driven, have excellent communication skills, and are skilled at developing relationships with candidates, hiring managers and the HR team. You are proactive at developing recruiting strategies, innovative at finding and engaging target talent, and skilled at negotiating. From generating pipeline to maintaining a successful offer acceptance rate, you manage the entire candidate process and experience. By leveraging your knowledge of our hiring needs and search requirements, you effectively match candidates with the roles in which they will be most successful.

You have demonstrated success in delivering in a highly competitive talent market without the use of agencies and you want to be part of an amazing team creating a world class talent function.

Main Responsibilities

  • Utilizing your knowledge of the talent market for finance, legal, hr and marketing functions for the EMEA/UKI region.
  • Develop ‘top talent lists’ using creative sourcing techniques including referral generation, networking and direct sourcing
  • Expertly manage the full cycle recruiting process
  • Partner closely with Hiring Mangers and teams to understand hiring needs and goals
  • Source, screen, schedule and interview qualified candidates
  • Facilitate the interview process and hiring strategy with interviewers and hiring managers
  • Maintain pipeline activity and candidate status
  • Drive offer process, including closing candidate
  • Act as an internally and externally-facing representative of the Sophos team

Experience and Qualifications

  • In-house or Executive search IT Sales recruiting experience.
  • Solid experience in sourcing candidates through advanced sourcing strategies, networking, social media, university relations, headhunting, etc. to maintain a deep candidate pipeline
  • Experience partnering with managers, interviewers, and team members throughout the hiring process
  • Experience recruiting for tech companies preferred.
  • Ability to effectively recruit on multiple positions simultaneously
  • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands and tight deadlines
  • You are very competitive and focused on results. You handle details accurately and in a timely manner and are focused on spending your time effectively
  • BA/BS degree or relevant work experience
