Sophos is hiring and we are looking for passionate sales talents to cover our North territory. Join us and help us to grow our business with key accounts in the region.


Job Purpose

You will be responsible for generating profitable revenue from sales to assigned key accounts in the North territory.


Location: Home-Office based in the region (Leeds, York, Manchester, Liverpool, New Castle)


Main Duties

  • Manage the entire customer engagement process, from customer acquisition to development and retention,
  • Lead opportunity identification and sales activities
  • Engage and enable joint selling with key channel partners across account base
  • Achieve annual billings quota
  • Achieve new business revenue and product targets
  • Collaborate with Channel Account Executive and National Channel Account Executive on account planning and engagement with partners
  • Manage and cultivate strong consultative relationships with business decision makers to ensure customer satisfaction across customers and prospect accounts
  • Visit client sites in order to increase deal value and close rates
  • Manage and ensure the accuracy of account information in CRM, account plans and forecasting systems
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of customer’s business (pain points, priorities, business drivers, etc.) to appropriately align Sophos solutions to customer’s needs
  • Consistently articulate Sophos’ value proposition to customers in order to maintain and expand Sophos’ business within assigned accounts


Skills and Experience

  • In depth experience of selling technology solutions, to commercial organisations and senior decision makers
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas
  • Ability to sell through and with channel partners
  • Strategic and tactical account planning
  • Ability to negotiate with senior level executives
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of security software industry, including competitors, market needs and trends would be desirable
