Job Purpose

 

The position for Marketing Specialist provides key services to corporate and field marketing teams. Services include a range of marketing operations and marketing automation activities, with a focus on marketing campaign execution. Includes email marketing, forms creation, landing page creation, event invites, surveys, nurture programs, and other campaign-related activities.

 

This role also supports core Marketing Operations functions and requires a high-level of collaboration within Marketing Operations and across several other Marketing teams. This role will focus on 90% regional activity (primarily focused on APAC Marketing) and 10% global activity. This role will be based in APAC region.

 

Main Duties

 

  • Work with Field Marketing teams to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns to increase the interaction between Sophos and our target audiences
  • Oversee the scheduling, coordination and execution of regional email marketing campaigns
  • Building and maintaining forms, landing pages, surveys, and event modules related to Americas Marketing efforts
  • Evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns and work with regional marketing teams to improve
  • Oversee lead import activities globally, including collection and import of prospect, customer and partner data into automated systems; recommend process improvements where applicable
  • Drive split-testing initiatives with email marketing campaigns, providing feedback and recommendations to campaign owners
  • Oversee ongoing management of Marketing Automation and CRM contact databases, updating unsubscribes, eliminating duplicates and otherwise improving contact data quality
  • Assist with campaign and event reporting and data cleansing.
  • Assist with event landing page and event creation

 

Skills & Experience

 

Essential:

  • Good communication skill (Written and Spoken)
  • 2-4 years’ experience in campaign execution
  • 2-4 years’ experience with marketing automation (Eloqua, Marketo, etc.)
  • 2-4 years’ experience working in a multi-national company serving multiple countries
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a time sensitive environment and multitask
  • Project, task management abilities (I.e. JIRA, Asana)
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently, organized, flexible
  • Good analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Organized
  • Ability to multitask with multiple projects occurring at the same time
  • Strong desire to learn and apply modern marketing tactics
