Job Purpose
Build a strong and meaningful relationship with specific reseller accounts, primarily over the phone. Make sure that the Sophos resellers can feel the channel partnership from Sophos who can support them with training, product knowledge, marketing, up and cross sell opportunities. Making sure that the outside and inside sales owners are well supported in their day to day job. You are the central contact who can get the right people in place to get things done. You will help resellers build there pipeline and see what other products from Sophos can be sold. Resellers expect you to have a good understanding of their business. You will pro-actively challenge them to perform in the best possible way.  

 

Main Duties

  • Facilitate channel engagement
  • Build relationships with the internal team, other departments (order processing, supply chain, product management, operations, etc.)
  • Build relationships with channel partners, distributors in order to get things done on a day to day basis.
  • Organize enablement activities for Sophos resellers
  • Align Sophos sales resources to support identified opportunities from key partners
  • Effectively articulate the requirements, expectations, and benefits of the Sophos Partner Program to partners
  • Help Sophos resellers in improving customer retention and minimizing the % unrenewed deals
  • Chase distribution and partners relating to administration, sales, etc.
  • Develop & implement proactive initiatives, in conjunction with Marketing, to promote Sophos complete range of products and services to partners.
  • Provide onsite support on corporate fairs and partner events.
  • Ensure all partner profile and contact information is kept up to date in CRM and other system in order to ensure business development and effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Constantly work to improve team mentality and channel effectiveness

 

Skills & Experiences 

  • 2 years higher level education after secondary school in Business studies or Sales
  • Experience in a commercial/administrative channel sales environment
  • Telephone sales skills and proactive mentality
  • Good working knowledge of the sales process, including retention and partner care aspects
  • Personal organisational skills and time management, especially prioritisation 
  • Good MS-Office knowledge and minimum one CRM system (preferably salesforce)
  • Fluent verbal & written communication skills in Dutch and English
