On offer is the opportunity to further your Professional Services career by joining an established, highly successful global Cyber Security organization based in Manila. We are seeking an experienced and talented Professional Services Consultant to join our growing team.


Focusing primarily on the Network Security Sophos Solutions (SFOS and SG) as well as willing to expand their expertise in Endpoint Security space (Endpoint Protection, Server protection, Encryption. etc), the main responsibilities of the role include onsite / remote technical consulting to end user in relating to moving Sophos solutions into production, providing certified training, health checks and upgrades on existing implementations and best practice security advice.


Main Duties


  • Deliver high quality Technical Consultancy to maximise customer satisfaction with their purchased Sophos solution and in support of subsidiary revenue targets
  • Conduct in-depth needs analysis with prospect/customers technical staff to determine requirements and specifications of Professional Services solutions in line with Sophos best practices
  • Develop and maintain customer documentation such as Statements of Work, Delivery Reports, Best Practice Recommendations etc.  On completion of any chargeable activity ensure that the work undertaken is fully documented and archived in accordance with Sophos Professional Services agreed process.
  • Participate fully in Professional Services internal processes, such as activity tracking for Utilization and Revenue reporting etc
  • Deliver presentations, internally and at customer sites, to provide technical and process training and in support of the Sophos Services value proposition
  • Support the sales liaison process to understand the issues faced by larger customers and identify ways to add value through the delivery of Professional Services solutions
  • Understand the costs surrounding any services offered or delivered and make recommendations to maximise productivity and profitability
  • Actively participate in regular team meetings by providing feedback on current day to day and future planned activity
  • Provide technical training to customers
  • Other duties as required in support of Sophos strategic goals.


Special Conditions

  • Willingness to travel – mostly India region with very occasional trips to Australia, ASEAN and China.
  • It is expected that an average of 80% of the time will be spent in the field working on customer sites – predominantly but not exclusively within country of residence (India) – requiring travel outside normal business hours and regular overnight stays.

  • Deep technical knowledge of security concepts and business requirements
  • Ability to assess technical requirements and propose appropriate solutions

Presentation skills, including sales and training

Familiarity with Sophos solutions or similar competitive products



  • Experience of supporting customers within a strategic high-level IT environment
  • Experience of installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Microsoft enterprise solutions, including Desktop, Server, IIS, SQL, Active Directory, Azure etc.
  • Experience of installation, configuration and troubleshooting of enterprise grade network devices such as firewalls, routers and switches. Extremely strong knowledge in enterprise networking technologies (LAN/WAN, routers, gateways, firewalls, DNS, LDAP, Apache).
  • Experience of working to defined levels of service delivery


  • Experience with security solutions (Anti-Malware, Data Protection, UTM, Mobile, Email and Web)
  • Working as a technical consultant within a customer facing environment
  • Proven track record of troubleshooting IT computer, server or network issues to successful resolution
  • Experience with supporting virtual platforms (VMWare, Hyper-V, Xen)
  • Programming experience in any of C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, HTML, Perl, VBScript, Jscript
