Job Purpose

Working close to the Country Manager you will have the opportunity to understand how to control the Country sales performance through an indirect channel model management, developing direct touch sales reporting and channel performance analysis through the use of Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office applications.

If You are interested into IT market and also in Cybersecurity, You will have also the strong opportunity to learn SOPHOS solutions and how we protect Customers against malware.

You will learn also SOPHOS methodology for channel qualification, conducting interviews to selected partners and helping the sales team to identify new opportunities for business development. Don’t hesitate and join SOPHOS Italy Team!

 

Main Duties

  • Handle Sophos quotes
  • Email answers on behalf of the Sophos Sales
  • Sales Back-up during holydays or travels
  • License changes, corrections around licences
  • Trial requests…
  • Build relationships with the internal team and other departments (order processing, supply chain, etc.)
  • Build relationships with channel partners, distributors in order to get things done on a day to day basis.
  • Ensure all partner/end-user profile and contact information is kept up to date in CRM and other systems.
  • Calls on small deals
  • Work as a team
  • Working from the office on a fulltime basis

 

Skills & Experience

  • Interest commercial/administrative channel sales environment and a love for paperwork.
  • Telephone skills and proactive mentality
  • First knowledge of the sales process.
  • Good verbal & written communication skills in Italian and English
  • Personal organisational skills and time management, especially prioritisation
  • Understanding that the partner is essential to the sales success
  • Good MS-Office knowledge and minimum one CRM system (preferably salesforce)
