Sales Engineer

Makati City, National Capital Region (NCR), PH, 1225


This incumbent will be responsible for supporting the Global Sales Engineering team on a wide variety of projects/initiatives.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Global Sales Engineering team on previous and future led initiatives
  • Provide support to the RFP (Request For Parts) help desk
  • Maintain and contribute to existing RFP Help Desk Templates
  • Create and maintain Sophos How-To Video library    
  • Proactively manage and deliver technical information to partners and customers both onsite, online, and via telephone



  • Minimum 5 years of experience providing software technical support to channel partners and end users (e.g., designing, managing, administering, and supporting technical solutions)
  • Experience managing IT infrastructure is a plus, though not required
  • Experience selling security solutions is a plus, though not required
  • Experience with pre-sales technical support, is a plus though not required
  • Deep technical knowledge of networking, security concepts and business requirements
  • Strong presentation, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent project management skills and writing skills
  • Ability to be self motivated and thrive in a team environment
  • Knowledge of security software industry, including competitors, market needs and trends
  • Familiarity with Sophos solutions or similar competitive products is a plus
  • Familiarity with Video Editing software is a plus
  • Certifications in networking space is a plus
