Role Summary

Responsible for providing the required capabilities of turning data into actionable insights. Develops new environments, methodologies, processes, tools, and data structures to enable effective analysis and advanced data modeling and statistical analysis against data sets. Direct accountability for overseeing and producing Power BI dashboards and new reporting solutions, managing a small team of Power BI developers. This person will require strong leadership skills, strong understanding of all enterprise database structure and design, strong understanding of relationship among front-end, back-end and reporting systems, and strategic thinking to create the most effective solution to meet report5ing and analytics requirements.


What You Will Do 


  • Help to build analytics strategies. You have an understanding of data reporting strategies
  • Gather complex data inputs from multiple sources, both internally and externally. Identify new data sources that will enhance business outcomes and support strategic and tactical objectives
  • Assesses the needs of the business, prioritize projects and drive new reporting requirements to completion. Work cross-functionally as needed to enable data architecture and solutions that best meet the analytics and reporting needs of the business. Drive clarity or requirements and ensure delivery meets agreed upon requirements.
  • Participate in the design & building of reports, reporting tools & databases for data generation
  •  Identify and communicate key insights to leadership team based on reports and analysis
  • Work cross functionally in order to proactively and systematically identify and implement any enhancements to reporting and analytics processes
  • Sales Ops’ data steward. Adherence to data governance standards, keep track on IT initiatives, projects, and programs related to data sources, and provide insight/feedback back to the team to help improve process. Strive for data reliability and integrity
  • Assure the integrity of data, including data extraction, storage, manipulation, processing and analysis
  • Regularly assumes project/initiative responsibility
  • Complete complex ad-hoc research, analysis, and reporting. Serves as a subject-matter expert on the team.
  • Participate in ongoing decisions concerning data collections, data design, methodology, and data analysis


What You Will Bring

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. General understanding of Sales Operations and business process
  • 7+ years’ experience mining data and developing / designing reports using a variety of reporting/analytics software packages with an aptitude for learning new reporting software packages
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large data sets; an appetite for numbers and analytics
  • Knowledge and understanding of common data intelligence practices & processes. Has an understanding of industry standards and tools in data reporting and analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage competing priorities & deliverables in a fast-paced, dead-line oriented environment. Superior organizational, problem solving, and analysis skills
  • Able to write complex SQL using a variety of user Interfaces (e.g., Snowflake, Google Big Query,Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Teradata SQL Assistant, TOAD for Oracle)
  • Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, graphing, data connections, automation using macros and VBA)
  • Able to combine data across multiple platforms to bring together into one cohesive dataset
  • Strong experience with Power BI data visualization design
  • Experience with Sales Force, Snowflake a plus
  • Sales Ops background strongly preferred
