Job Purpose

Senior project manager with experience managing and deploying sales- and channel-focused applications. Provides strong project leadership including recommending solutions, influencing decisions, process improvement, project planning and issue / risk management. Will collaborate across departments to manage deliverables, deadlines and budget. Will communicate cross-departmentally to maximize value of systems and applications and minimize conflict. Initial long-term project will be CPQ system from project leadership and management from selection and scoping to implementation and enablement.

 

Main Duties

Provide CPQ project management and leadership for the Channel and Sales Operations organization from selection to adoption including

  • Driving and influencing decisions and selections
  • Meeting with business owners to gather and clarify requirements
  • Manage selection process
  • Develop and share comprehensive project plans
  • Tracking, managing and communicating project goals and performance
  • Collaboratively and creatively problem solving to achieve collective goals

 

Provide project management education and leadership within the Sales Operations team

Assist with prioritization and project management across sales systems and business intelligence team

 

Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years project management in sales, preferably channel-driven, environment
  • Experience recommending, leading and deploying CPQ, commissions and other sales- and SalesForce-related solutions
  • Project management certification
  • Collaborative approach to project management engaging all appropriate parties in the process
  • Strong team and individual time management and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Able to influence and manage change
