Role Summary


The role will work directly for the Director of Global Delivery Operations supporting and driving efficient order management. Responsible for a large global team, the role will often need to work cross-functionally with finance, I.T., customer support, sales operations, and sales. The Sr. Manager plays a critical function in helping to ensure optimal process efficiency and productivity in delivering licenses and finished goods to the customer and partners. There will be a significant requirement to participate in related business transformation activity. Be seen as the go-to person for order processing and a senior representative of Delivery Operations across the Sophos extended community.


What You Will Do


The Sr. Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Order Management, efficient and accurate processing of all incoming orders
  • Manage a large global team of more than 50 staff
  • Manage the efficient running of EDI with technology partners and distributors
  • Manage the operational onboarding of new distributors
  • Assist sales in managing the relationships with key distributors
  • Help manage the inventory by ensuring efficient stocking at distributors
  • Manage and optimize implementation of order management and its interfaces with supply chain, and licensing provisioning processes
  • Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders 
  • Work with other key I.T. and business leaders in maintaining and improving current software infrastructure and on major business transformation projects
  • Suggest and participate in continuous process improvements initiatives
  • Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner
  • Identify and recommend key order management KPIs as well as working with stakeholders on how these KPI’s relate to overall performance of Sophos operations
  • Develop reporting to manage day to day operations and to report on KPIs to senior management as well as key stakeholders outside delivery operations
  • Maintain a focus on customer and partner satisfaction, working closely with key stakeholders in sales, including, but not limited to, optimization of order process and resolution of all customer and partner issues and problems


What You Will Bring


  • BS / MS in business, business administration, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, Supply Chain, or any other related field preferred
  • 10+ years in the technology sector with prior management experience.
  • Data Fluency – ability to leverage data to help organization better understand performance and progress to goal(s)
  • Experience participating in business / digital transformation projects
  • Analytical Toolkit – ability to exercise different problem-solving approaches to analyze results, including but not limited to time series analysis, experimental design and data visualization
  • Self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team orientation and collaborative style. Flexible demeanor and an ability to get involved in the details while maintain a wider view
  • Strong business and technical aptitude with an attitude to solve complex problems
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
