Role Summary

The Senior Customer Reference Manager plays a pivotal global role that reports into Marketing, and provides cross-department support and collaboration with our Sales, Product Management, Analyst Relations, Marketing, and Public Relations/Social Media teams. We’re looking for a leader who can build strong internal relationships and understand what’s needed to develop customer relationships that ultimately help us close deals, launch products, influence key industry analysts, communicate successes, and much more.



What You Will Do

  • Build strong relationships with our core sales teams who you will support by recruiting appropriate references for peer-to-peer conversations during the sales cycle
  • Coordinate with our analyst team to ensure we have customer representation for the complete range of industry analyst reports that include our award-winning products and services
  • Help marketing, public relations and social media functions develop quotes, videos and other materials with customer advocates for events, launches, press materials, media opportunities, and reports
  • Work closely with product management to develop positive customer feedback during early access programs for product and services launches  
  • Use a white glove, customer service approach to all communications with customers
  • Maintain positive, productive relationships with customers
  • Work globally, understanding time zones and with excellent time management skills to maximize the day and meet deadlines
  • Track and organize contacts


What You Will Bring

  • Excellent skills understanding and juggling multiple functions/departments within an organization
  • The ability to multi-task on deadline to handle internal and customer-facing projects  
  • Strategic thinking and a basic-to-senior-level understanding of cybersecurity products and development cycles, sales cycles, and key positioning that will help all stakeholders  
  • Initiative and the skills to own the program/position with a “let’s collaborate” attitude
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a customer advocacy role, preferably in cybersecurity or technology
  • Experience with Reference View or similar software
  • Superior written and verbal communications skills
  • Relationship building capabilities
  • B.A. or B.S. degree in business, marketing, communications, or similar
