Role Summary:

Under the guidance of the Head of Global Analyst Relations, you will work closely with key internal stakeholders to refine and deliver programs that maximize awareness and understanding of Sophos products and services among the analyst community and, by extension, customers, prospects, and partners. As a member of the Sophos Analyst Relations team, your primary goal is to act as a strategic partner to the business; providing actionable information, analysis, insight, and feedback to help achieve the organization's strategic objectives. You will be responsible for planning and participating in analyst briefings, inquiries, strategy days, and more to influence Sophos’ positioning in existing markets and guide the definition and creation of new and emerging markets in cybersecurity. Working closely with a number of groups within Sophos, you will manage analyst evaluation research cycles to drive an accurate representation of corporate strategy, execution, and vision in the market. You will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key analysts, providing regular updates and synthesizing their feedback.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with product teams and other internal stakeholders to identify research needs and opportunities to drive positive analyst interactions
  • Plan, schedule, and participate in analyst interactions
  • Manage analyst evaluation cycles (e.g., Gartner Magic Quadrants, Forrester Waves, IDC MarketScapes, etc.)
  • Monitor, track, and synthesize analyst research, including published reports, webinars, live presentations, etc.
  • Develop positioning and messaging that differentiates Sophos' offerings in the market
  • Assist in identifying market opportunities and gaps in offerings to ensure that Sophos products and services remain competitive and differentiated in the marketplace
  • Work closely with Marketing to leverage analyst assets (e.g., published research, evaluations, hosted webinars etc.) in awareness and lead-generation campaigns

 

What You Will Bring:

  • Knowledge of the Endpoint, Firewall, and/or Cloud Security market and products with an appreciation of operational practices, business functionalities, and competitive landscape
  • Established relationships with industry analysts covering specific market segments
  • Understanding and affinity for technology and ability to learn technical product details
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to communicate with members of the analyst community to gain understanding and buy-in on product and go-to-market strategies, technology implementation, and organizational vision
  • Strategic thinking, and the ability to turn vision into structured plans and actions
  • Curiosity, creativity, and other positive contributions to our collaborative team
  • Strong analytical ability to assess research relevance
