Job Purpose:

As a HR Coordinator you deliver robust and proactive HR coordinating and administrational services, supporting the regional HR Function. Enable the regional Human Resources function to deliver services to the business. Communicate, organize and collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders, across an extensive variety of tasks.


Main Duties:

  • Support and drive HR transactions including new hires, follow up of probationary period , compensation changes, status change request forms, and handling employee transfers and exits
  • Maintain the HR database and physical files, ensuring that data is 100% accurate for all employees, verify and maintain required employee documentation, ensuring current and compliant (including data privacy)
  • Coordinate and manage the On-Boarding process, ensuring consistency and quality is maintained for new employees joining Sophos to ensure a smooth start and great first day experience
  • Provide general HR administrative support to the HR Team including preparation of request for hiring, contracts, addenda, the production of correspondence and supporting project activities as needed
  • Support in updating legal documents compliant with Company policies & local regulation
  • Perform customer service functions by answering candidate and employee requests and questions
  • Support processing of terminations and exit interviews
  • Input and manage Purchase Orders for HR in SAP
  • Manage the administration of local/regional benefits (f.e. holiday entitlements, health insurance, pension, life insurance)
  • Manage relationship with benefits providers and coordinate the annual renewal of health insurances with the Compensation & Benefit team.
  • Support monthly and annual payroll reports including sick leave, leavers payments, etc. to send timely to the Payroll team. Manage time and attendance system
  • Schedule training courses, preparing course materials where required. 
  • Update and maintain HR content on intranet
  • Support yearly processes (Salary review, Performance review, etc.)


Skills & Experience

  • Experience in an administrative focused HR role
  • Working on highly confidential matters
  • Handling high volume of admin work
  • Working / delivering against agreed business service levels agreements
  • Working with HRIS or similar system
  • Good knowledge of HR processes
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • High sensitivity in dealing with employees
  • Advanced MS Office knowledge incl. Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
