Job Purpose: 

The role is responsible for generating profitable revenue from sales to customers within an assigned territory, by selling with and through channel partners, primarily over the phone (Inside Sales).


Main Duties:

  • Achieve annual and quarterly billings quotas for your assigned territory.
  • Maintain customer engagement at the required levels with your assigned accounts.
  • Manage all sales opportunities in your assigned territory to:
  • Increase customer retention.
  • Increase deal value.
  • Increase close rates and speed up the sales cycle.
  • Support channel sales activities in your assigned territory.
  • Support the channel planning process and forecasting for your assigned territory accounts in conjunction with the relevant Channel Account Executives.
  • Work with partners to consistently articulate Sophos’ value proposition to customer in order to maintain and expand Sophos’ business within assigned customer accounts
  • Responsible for forecasting monthly/quarterly business
  • Attend partner sites to generate new business opportunities


Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in a sales environment, ideally in cybersecurity
  • Experience in selling IT solutions
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding territory sales quotas
  • Familiarity with CRM/PRM and forecasting systems
  • Knowledge of territory characteristics and business environment
  • Knowledge of software channel ecosystems
  • Strong Presentation and Negotiation skills
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Excellent telephone selling skills
  • Ability to thrive in a team selling environment
