Job purpose:

As a member of the Finance team you will initially be the primary finance resource in relation to revenue for the Group’s Order-to-Cash systems enhancement project.  You will partner with leaders from all functions including IT, Sales, Supply Chain and be a key part of the wider project team in order to deliver a best-in-class solution.  Subsequently, you will work in the area of revenue recognition and analysis.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Subject Matter expert for Finance on the O2C project.
  • Architect best in class, future state Order-to-Cash processes for revenue.  Processes must address simplicity, standardisation and scalability.
  • Evaluate current revenue processes for efficiency and compliance with relevant financial standards, and identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Key role, working closely with the IT organisation and implementation partner, as well as other subject matter experts within the finance function and beyond
  • Prepare and facilitate End User Acceptance Testing
  • Provide relevant and drive revenue recommendations decisions critical for the success of the project


Skills & experience:

  • Qualified ACA / ACCA
  • Relevant post qualification experience
  • Extensive knowledge of revenue recognition standards, including comprehensive knowledge of IFRS15
  • Revenue accounting experience
  • Strong communications skills; able to develop strong working relationships outside of Finance
  • Financial systems and data management experience
  • In-depth Order-to-Cash processes understanding
  • Excellent problem solving and organisational skills,
  • Self-starter with drive and determination
  • The ability to organise a busy and demanding workload is essential as is the ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with changing priorities.
