Job Purpose:

We are currently recruiting a Public Sector Account Manager for our South / South Western territory. The role is responsible for generating profitable billings from sales of Sophos solutions
to new and existing customers in the Local & Central Government, NHS and Housing sectors.

 

Main Duties:

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly & annual billings quotas.
  • Achieve new business and product specific billings quotas.
  • Manage the sales lifecycle from lead generation to customer acquisition and retention.
  • Articulate the Sophos value proposition to create & develop opportunity within your sales territory.
  • Visit customer and partner sites to drive the sales process and increase close rates.
  • Engage and enable joint selling with key channel partners across the account base.
  • Collaborate with the Sophos Channel team on account planning and engagement with partners.
  • Create and actively manage a territory sales plan.

 

Experience and Skills:

  • A proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience of selling technology solution, ideally Cyber Security, into the Public Sector.
  • Knowledge of the cyber security industry, including competitors, market needs and trends.
  • Familiarity with Sophos solutions or comparable competitive products.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills.
  • The discipline, drive and work rate to be successful in a competitive sales role.
