Reporting to the Technology Services Manager, we are seeking an experienced and talented Professional Services Consultant to join our growing team.

 

Focusing primarily on the Core Sophos Solutions (User and Network Protection), the main responsibilities of the role include onsite / remote technical consulting to end user in relating to moving Sophos solutions into production, providing certified administration training, health checks and upgrades on existing implementations and best practice cyber security advice.

 

Main Duties:

  • Deliver high quality Technical Consultancy to maximise customer satisfaction with their purchased Sophos solution and in support of subsidiary revenue targets
  • Conduct in-depth needs analysis with prospect/customers technical staff to determine requirements and specifications of Professional Services solutions in line with Sophos best practices
  • Develop and maintain customer documentation such as Statements of Work, Delivery Reports, Best Practice Recommendations etc.  On completion of any chargeable activity ensure that the work undertaken is fully documented and archived in accordance with Sophos Professional Services agreed process.
  • Participate fully in Professional Services internal processes, such as activity tracking for Utilization and Revenue reporting etc
  • Deliver presentations, internally and at customer sites, to provide technical and process training and in support of the Sophos Services value proposition
  • Support the sales and Technical Support to understand the issues faced by customers and identify ways to add value through the delivery of Professional Services solutions to help remedy issues
  • Actively participate in regular team meetings by providing feedback on current day to day and future planned activity
  • Provide technical training to customers
  • Other duties as required in support of Sophos strategic goals.

 

Experience and Skills:

  • Effective communication and presentation skills to customers and partners
  • Understanding Customer and Partner Businesses to position the Sophos solutions
  • Tech Savvy
  • Decision Making to help support sales process
  • Takes the initiative and Action Orientated to ensure partners are onboarded and selling our solutions
  • Working with the Sales team to align joint business goals and drive partner performance
  • Driven to constantly learn new skills, technologies and new solutions
  • Out of the box thinking to create new innovative tools or solutions to customer challenges
  • Reflects on previous installs, to constantly improve the delivery process and customer engagements.
  • Willingness to travel – mostly UK and Ireland with very occasional trips to Europe / USA
  • Post Covid-19, It is expected that an average of 70% of the time will be spent in the field working on customer sites (upto 3 days a week) – predominantly but not exclusively within country of residence (UKI) – requiring travel outside normal business hours and regular overnight stays.
