Job Purpose

A heavily proactive role working within our channel team that needs to grow its business by recruiting, qualifying and on-boarding new channel partners to drive net-new and cross-sell revenue. 

 

Main Duties

  • Proactively identify, qualify, recruit and on-board partners within the ‘Solution Profile’ (IT Consultants/Managed Service Providers) through various methods and work with them specifically to grow their business and Sophos mindshare
  • Drive all partners to grow their Sophos business through efficient renewal and aggressive new business acquisition.
  • Profile Sophos partners within the ‘Solution Profile’ and work with them specifically to grow their business and Sophos mindshare
  • Negotiate with (and through) partners in competitive situations in order to ensure that Sophos is the preferred vendor
  • Follow up leads and partner data proactively to maximise new business potential
  • Account manage partners via phone, email and on-site visits where required to increase revenue potential
  • Drive a high renewal rate through the partner’s customers through ensuring partners focus on their renewals and identify cross-sell opportunities within larger renewals, contacting the customer directly where necessary

 

Skill& Experience

  • Telephone sales skills
  • Working with spreadsheets and other business tools
  • Working towards a sales target
  • Working with a high volume of customers or resellers
  • Building mutually beneficial business relationships
  • Proactive outbound calling in previous roles
  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written 
  • Handling multiple priorities effectively
  • Troubleshooting
